Hi All
Attached is a list of lots that are being auctioned on 29th October in aid of the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation and to raise funds for one of my colleagues, Paul Adkins, whose wife recently gave birth to their son Matthew prematurely whilst visiting friends in the UK.
His wife Emma suffered liver and kidney failure and was in intensive care but happily both Emma and Matthew are all fine now. However, although they had medical insurance it did not cover the costs of their hospital stay or more importantly the cost of flying Emma and Matthew back to Guernsey (the cost of which ran into thousands).
We have the most amazing lots for auction. We have villas, sporting tickets including VIP horse racing tickets, six nations VIP tickets etc and much more. You might even be able to tick off a few Xmas gifts early! :)
The event is at St Martins Community Centre from 6.30pm and you can buy tickets for £5.00 which includes food.
If you want to bid for a lot but cannot attend we are accepting sealed bids. All you have to do is notify Emma Stubbs (emma.stubbs@sportingbet.com) of the lot you wish to bid for, the maximum amount you will go to and then on the night we will have a dedicated person bidding on your behalf. If you are successful you will need to pay within 5 days please and she needs your contact telephone number and email address.
We know that some of these prizes especially the sports tickets are really difficult to get hold of so we want to offer it to as many people we know as possible.
Please let Emma know if you want to attend or place a sealed bid.
