My long time friend that used to run Shoe Care in the arcade has made the bold move to leave that company and start on his own after 32 years.
Nev will be opening his brand new shop "The Shufixa" up market street opp the enterance to co-op (back end of New Look) next monday (17th Jan).
He will continue to do most of the repair work to your leather shoes, boots, bags etc. along with the usual Key cutting that he used to do in the arcade. He's managed to get a new stitching machine so anything that's leather or otherwise bound, he may be able to sort it out for you rather than it be sent away.
I can tell you all that any shoes that have to be handed in to any of the other shops on the island at present, get sent to Jersey unless you demand they be done the same day. Nev promises to try and fix your shoes either while you wait if he can, or atleast get them ready the same day where possible.
Why not pop in and say Hi to him and give him a chance to continue his good work with any repairs you may need in the future!
