Showing in hand question?

A bit of a random one but I notice different organisers have different rules on this subject.
For the RC in hand shows do you have to wear a riding hat with harness or are flat caps, fancy caps etc permitted?

I have seen people show in hand with flat caps/no hat at all/riding hats. Hope that helps.

Flat caps, bowlers,fancy hats and hard hats are all permittied by the club but please be aware that the judge may request hard hats to be worn, just as they may request riders to wear a hat with a 3 point harness rather than a beagler /show type hat.
