Shetland pony owners

Hi,

Not sure that this is strictly the right place to post here, but there doesn't seem to be a 'general chat' area!

Just wondering how many people own Shetland ponies in Guernsey (or indeed any of the Channel Islands) and how people would feel about setting up the 'Channel Islands Shetland Pony Society', to be affiliated to the main Shetland Pony Stud Book Society in Scotland?

Hi I would be interested in a shetland pony club I have:
1 palomino miniature shetland which drives, he is called Stan
I have an in foal dun miniature called Morag and i have a dark bay mini called Mia that has just foaled. She had a light bay filly on 11/05/10 I have called her Guernsey Liberation Lola Bear. Bear for short.

I hope your idea goes ahead and keep me posted

Looks like things are building momentum - just have to work out the logistics of getting everyone together for the clubs Inaugeral meeting!
