The local group of Riding for the Disabled would be very pleased to hear from anyone who may be available to help with instruction on any of the following days/times. We have 43 riders, adults and children, who attend each week during term time only and they look forward to their riding very much.
The adult ride takes place at La Carriere Stables on Monday between 10am - 11am.
The rides for the children take place between 12.30pm - 2.45pm on Monday and Wednesday at Otterbourne Stables.
We also need volunteers to join our large number of helpers to cover for illness or holidays. There is no age restriction over 16 years of age. Helpers are required to either lead the horse/pony or walk alongside the rider. The more competent riders do trot at times during the lesson but only as much as the helpers can cope with!
If you think you may be able to help, even for an hour on one of the days, please call Liz Froome on 265462.
